Cats Looking For Homes!

HOKAFI shelters stray, abandoned, and abused cats and kittens. All of our cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), have yearly vaccinations for distemper, upper respiratory infection, rabies, and are treated for fleas and wormed. Kittens are vaccinated based on their age. Our adoption counselor will give you a complete medical history of the cat you choose.

All of our adult cats are spayed or neutered. Our adoption fee for adults under 7 years of age is $80.00 plus 6% tax. THIS JUST IN! The adoption fee for cats who are 7 years or older is now only $25.00 plus 6% tax. For kittens, the adoption fee is $70 plus tax plus and additional $30 sterilization deposit which is returned upon receipt of proof of spaying. It is a state law that all cats and kittens adopted from a shelter must be spayed by age 6 months. We have many wonderful senior cats who deserve a home of their own. Please consider adopting a new friend who is older. Everyone needs love, young and old! Things to bring with you if you plan to adopt from us:

• If you are currently renting, we must verify that you are permitted to have pets. Please bring a copy of your lease and your landlord's name & telephone number so that we may contact him/her. This information is required for the adoption application.
• Your valid drivers license.
• A pet carrier, upon approval and completion of the adoption process. (when taking the cat home)

Dogs Looking for Homes!

HOKAFI provides shelter for stray, abandoned, and abused dogs. Our dogs are cared for by a group of dedicated volunteers. The volunteers help to teach the dogs basic commands, feed, walk and exercise the dogs, and give the dogs lots of attention and love.
The dogs have all been seen by a veterinarian, are spayed or neutered, and are given common vaccinations, including rabies.

HOKAFI will provide you with a leash and collar, at the time of adoption. Our adoption fee is $125.00 plus tax. Crates are available to rent with a refundable deposit required based on the size of the crate. We will also provide as much information and support as needed to ensure that the adoption goes smoothly.

These dogs are very grateful to be given a second chance. Even though we are a no kill shelter, a kennel run is not a home. The dogs desire loving caring homes.
