Be a Guardian Angel

There are plenty of angels right here on earth, and you can be one of them. By signing up to become a HOKAFI Guardian Angel, you can sponsor a long-term shelter resident or fostered pet for a monthly donation that helps provide necessities and medical care through the Guardian Angel Program.

Why should I become a Guardian Angel?
People become Guardian Angels for a number of reasons. Some people wish they could take home every animal at the shelter. Becoming a Guardian Angel is a way to help an animal find a home. Guardian Angel sponsorship provides food and medical care until that special person comes through the door to take them home. Becoming a Guardian Angel is also a way of showing your support for the shelter. Thank you!

What happens when I become an Angel?
Once HOKAFI receives your sponsorship form, a Guardian Angel will receive a picture of their sponsored pet with brief background information, certificate, and coupon booklet. "Guardian Angels" will also receive 2 pictures a year of their sponsored furry friend and can also visit their pet at the shelter by appointment or during open hours on Sat 11-3.

Can I make someone else a Guardian Angel?
Guardian Angel Sponsorship makes a great gift of the heart. A card acknowleding the gift will be sent to the recipient , or to you if you choose to deliver the gift yourself. The card may include a brief message, if you wish.
