This heat is making me slow on updating - all I really want to do is find a cool place to lay down and stay still!  However, I do want to thank everyone who came out for the Quarter Auction.  It raised close to $2,000 - which gets us a little closer to our goal.  And while that's a lot of quarters, we're going to need a whole lot more!  Read more about the upcoming Yard Sale and the September and December Quarter Auctions

For those of you who still have some stuff, oh I mean treasures, you would like to recycle (yep, I've turned green!), I'm told there will be another Yard Sale during 20-21 August. So we will be looking for these treasures starting on August 18 and 19. I'll send out a reminder as we get closer to the date cuz I know how busy everyone gets in the summer. I'm going to be looking for some Baked Goods as well; not for me.... for the customers. They looked pretty hungry on Saturday morning and I don't want any of my fellow residents to get nervous. You know like a hot dog on a stick.... I love that one!

We're gonna have Quarter Auctions on 10 September and 3 December.... just in time to for Christmas shopping. So don't forget to get something for me.... a nice steak bone, or better yet a steak for me and my buds would be greatly appreciated.
