Wow, the first month is gone already, groundhog saw his shadow and we have six more weeks of winter.  If it's been like the first part of January - that's okay.

The renovated dog shelter has been open for one year now.  Except for a few minor adjustments throughout the year and a couple more to go - it's been a welcome change.  The dogs love being able to go outside within their kennel run during the nicer days.  Hopefully you were able to see it during our Holiday Open House.

A few things - actually people - we really need this year is someone skilled in PR/advertising.  It's been handled by one person, but we'd like to establish a committee.  So, if you want to lead or help and you like to write, email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We could also use some folks to assist with fundraising.  That's such a big job, we've actually got Co-chairs for this committee.  But if you have time available on weekends to help with events - they could use more hands.

If you want to help, but don't have hours per week to help - we can use even a few hours a month, just contact us via email or phone and we'll find a place for you!

2012 CALENDARS

There's still a few calendars available. The price the same as last year - $12.00. Carl Photography in Boiling Springs did a wonderful job again creating a beautiful calendar.
